Rules
The WSoL uses basic lacrosse rules, incorporating modifications from every level of play to create the most enjoyable variation of the game while addressing any key safety provisions where applicable. The WSoL also incorporates rules refinements based on age and skill levels. We refer to this as Age Appropriate Rule Refinements.
The foundation for the WSoL Rules comes from the NFHS rules (High School) rules and the NCAA rules. These basic rules are then adjusted for any applicable US Lacrosse modifications and WSoL modifications. The WSoL Rules and Operations Manual is available to any member team or league.
